Adam and His Service Dog Elsa

Adam lost his hearing over the past few years. Even with additional devices to assist him, he is totally deaf. His hearing impairment made him feel isolated and anxious until he got his hearing assistance dog, Elsa.

He says, “It is so nice and comforting to know that I don’t have to worry about somebody coming to the door at home, the smoke alarm going off, the microwave beeping, and be able to go for a run and not have to be constantly looking over my back for people or large vehicles coming from behind. Getting Elsa has been a HUGE improvement in my life and I know like a fine wine, we will only get better with time.”
